Health Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar
Whether you are watching the news on TV or scrolling through social media, you have probably heard people discussing the health benefits of apple cider vinegar (ACV). The main ingredient in apple cider vinegar is acetic acid. Organic ACV contains friendly bacteria, strands of proteins, and enzymes. It is also rich in B-vitamins, antioxidants, and amino acids.
One to two tablespoons of ACV a day (diluted in water or other liquids such as tea) has been shown to be a beneficial additive to the diet. It can lower blood sugar levels moderately. ACV has also been associated with lowering cholesterol and triglycerides. Studies have shown that it can aid in weight loss, by curbing your appetite. However, that doesn’t mean you can eat whatever you want and forgo exercise. It acts in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle.
ACV can help fight off bacteria and prevent illnesses, aid in digestion, and help you absorb more nutrients from food. The acetic acid in ACV has been shown to help fuel your muscles for exercise, as well. Additionally, your skin will thank you! Those who consume ACV on a regular basis have shown healthier, glowing skin.
